Info about the victims
[edit]@Lunareagle:, welcome to Wikipedia. I have analyzed your edits and have decided the best course of actions is to reverse them. I do not believe that the victims' personal lives are irrelevant. Goosey and Barnett died as a result of a drug debt that another person owed Goosey, and the notion of college students becoming drug dealers is part of the commentary.
Also which information do you believe is contradictory? WhisperToMe (talk) 00:03, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
If it has to do with the final two sentences ("As of 2009..." and "The landlord said...") it seems contradictory but the fact is that sometimes there are uncertainties. All that we can do as an encyclopedia is say: A said X, B said Y... or in this case, the police said that Barnett didn't know while the landlord said that he had warned her about her boyfriend's drug use (not the same as drug dealing, which is what got the two killed). See the cited article. WhisperToMe (talk) 00:05, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

This is a Spanish language article from the main newspaper of Austin. If at some time this case gets more coverage, a Spanish version of this article may be useful. As of now I don't think there's enough to get an article on ESwiki. WhisperToMe (talk) 14:58, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Poetry slam
[edit]https://barnettpoetryslam.weebly.com/about-the-slam.html states that a Poetry slam at Lanier Middle School (Houston) was named after Barnett. I believe there's a memorial at a park in West U also named after her. WhisperToMe (talk) 20:21, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
Colonial Park in West University Place also has Stacy's Tree, which is dedicated to her https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/39788815/stacy-marie-barnett/photo#view-photo=173049795 WhisperToMe (talk) 11:35, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
